KING OF THE CASTLE.

MATTHEUNS PRETORIUS, SOUTH AFRICA.

"I spotted a mother cheetah and her two cubs on a misty morning in the Kruger National Park. The cubs were very playful, making sure to jump on every single fallen tree stump in their path. It was a sort of 'king of the castle' game to see who could reach the top first. This photo was my favorite."

I appreciate that in this instance the wildlife takes a back seat in order to show the grandeur of Antarctica. A wonderful example of a wildlife environmental shot and reminds us of how much we stand to lose if we don't take care of our planet." Jennifer Hadley
