HONORABLE MENTIONS
LOST IN THOUGHT. Adam Neuba, Germany.
The effect of nature and human-made technology, which are so different in their sensation, merge here into a kind of photographic symbiosis.
DUO. Charles Chojnacki, Belgium.
A couple on the stairs of the Museum of Den Hagg, Holland
SUMMERTIME SADNESS. Gabriela Pantu, Romania.
Portrait in natural light, using lensbaby and ICM, expressing the melancholy, the sadness when a beautiful time comes to an end, like in Lana del Rey's Song, which inspired the mood and the title of the image.Impossible to hold 'the summer'' forever, emotional upheaval is a closure.
DUSK ON THE LAKE. Subham Shome, India.
Amidst a serene sunset, love's glow painted the boat with this couple in hues of romance, as they sailed serenely into the horizon.
FOREST TREES, YOU KNOW MY SOUL. Jérôme Pace, France.
It appeared as if by magic. A fleeting, almost unreal vision that the snow will soon cover with its white breath.
Life is a gift. Whatever our pains may be; whatever our fears may be: it is our most precious good, our most fierce fight.
"Forest trees, you know my soul!" was taken in Paris.

SUR-REAL. Claudia Fontana, Italy.
When Reality turns into Surreal, it loses its limits. Senses aren’t reliable anymore and Perception expands. Humans become shapes as well as the Architecture they live in, linking and fusing one with the other, as a whole.
COLUMNA REBORN. Bevil Templeton-Smith, United Kingdom.
Artificial sweetener, melted on a microscope slide and allowed to crystallise slowly by cooling on a copper block. Photographed on my 1970 Leitz Orthoplan Polarising microscope with homemade retarders and jerry rigged camera adapter.
THE SERPENT. Marusa Uranjek, United Kingdom.
Follow the shapes of the dunes and you will paint your own picture.
LUCID DREAM. Gabriela Pantu, Romania.
conceptual image created with long exposure and movement of the subject in front of the camera, using tripod; exploring the connection between reality and spiritual dimension, the way that
reality transcends into dream/imagination/spirit

BUS STOPPED. Bob Debski, USA.
They don't make them like they used to. Sometimes you never know where your next subject will appear. I drove by this old bus on the return trip from a photo shoot. I hate to say it, but this serendipitous passing ended up being the better of the subjects.
MYSTERIOUS BEAUTY. Ching-yan Kung, China.
Sometimes, the more mysterious something is, the more attractive it tends to be. This photo aims to capture the mysterious beauty behind a veil, somewhere between clarity and vaguery.
THE HORDE. Yvon Jolivet, Canada.
This photograph was captured in the field in eastern Quebec (Canada). Buffalo breeding is not common in this region. Those buffalo's run was shoot when the animals escaped from their enclosure.
ELEPH-ANTS. Luca Ronchi, Italy.
A large herd of elephants is moving in the Okavango Delta. Amid this vast expanse, they take on the appearance of minuscule ants. This view reminds us of the scale of the natural world, where even the largest terrestrial creatures are humbled by the enormity of the wilderness.
TEMPUS SOLIS IGNEA ANNULOS. Alex Boutte, USA.
Composition created from a sequence of photographs taken of 2023 Annular Solar Eclipse. I traveled to tiny miner town of Madrid, NM and stayed in a tiny house out in the desert in order to capture these images of the annular eclipse. The clock-like shape represents "time" to the visual creativity.
THE WAVE. Chris Fraikin, The Netherlands.
Appartment building in Almere, The Netherlands.
PIGEON. Antoine Buttafoghi, France.
La Défense, Paris.
MATING DANCE. Jackie Schletter, USA.
White egret with a signature move and colors during mating season.
MOUNTAIN HORSE.
TRACES. Gabriela Pantu, Romania.
An image about closure, like the necessary step to go forward/fly, with the body like an hourglass, the traces are left behind, made aware of.
CYGNUS NEBULAR COMPLEX. Loris Ferrini, Italy.
Immense expanse of ionized hydrogen in the middle of the constellation Cygnus
BLOOM. Grace Lawson, USA.
A self portrait in which a bouquet of lavender protrudes from the back, creating a photomontage. This image references the phrase "lavender menace", a term initially used to ostracize lesbians but was later reclaimed and embraced by the sapphic community.
DESERT DUNES OR OCEAN WAVES?. Marusa Uranjek, United Kingdom.
The captivating softness and serenity of desert dunes.
