I went to Lake Boora in County Offaly in Ireland very early in the morning. The combination of the fog and rising sun was magical, but something was missing. Suddenly two Gesees showed up and I did not hesitate to take this picture.

Embracing the art of stillness, the sea and pier converse in hushed tones, beautifully captured in shades of gray.

I love horses and the way they express their love between them. Horses show affection for one another through vocalizations as well as by actions. They nicker to show happiness when greeting other horses, scratch to show affection, mutually groom one another as a sign of care and attention.

Photos show children at a ship propeller making factory at Sadarghat dockyard in Bangladesh's capital Dhaka, working without proper safety equipments and in a overall unsafe condition. They say their work starts from 7 in the morning and goes on until 7 in the evening only 2.0$/day.

Kolkata, the only city in the world where rickshaw men exist... a glorious colonial past combined with a difficult future in many ways.

This image could very well have been taken at Naboo, Tatooine, or any other alien planet (real or imaginary). I wanted to convey the idea of communication and contact, and my ultimate purpose was to tickle the observer's imagination and make them travel in space and time with their minds.

Among the pod of spinners, two dolphins stood out, the perfect mix of playful trouble and togetherness. I captured this image right after they had shot up into the air together and were diving back down into that amazing blue water, like two friends plunging into a pool on a hot summer day.

I bumped into this beautiful Peruvian procession celebrating a miracle in 17th century Lima in East Village, NYC. I was mesmerized by the different expression on each participant's face and body, the incense smoke and light/shadows. I chose black and white to emphasize its timeless quality.

Carried out at an altitude of 3200m, all the ingredients I wanted were there: clear sky, no Moon, Milky Way, access to the summit without snow and a sea of clouds.
